You're Only Young Twice

Whenever you get the February-Blues, or start whining about getting older: have a look at this funny little book!!
I adore Quentin Blake - (especially "The Hermit and the Bear", written by John Yeoman).

Look at this:

and then do it yourself:

Feel good again?
That's good!

It's a state of mind, isn't it? If I smile, I feel better, no matter what's going on inside. If I'm tired or dragged down by work I know that getting outside and running or walking will give me back a spring in my step. I'm sure that those illustrations would do the trick too!
What a clever post you've put up for us!

Oh, clever indeed! I love the illustrations. They makes me want to go leap about right now.

I think I'm going to go kick up a storm. I love the charming and light-hearted illustrations. How can you not smile and feel good? :)

Just a little thought ...
Happy Valentine my dear Britta.
I take a look at your blog every day ... also if I don't send you a comment.

Dear Pondside,
I share your view of smiles and motion. Thank you!

Dear Susan,
thank you! I love Lauren Hutton - as a model she refused to cap the little gap between her teeth - and if you look at pictures of her on wikipedia, one sees that she refused Botox and beauty-OPs too - very courageous in America, I think.

Dear Jayne,
thank you! He painted those drawings first on the walls of an hospital for elderly people in London.
He is spreading good feelings.

Hello, dear Britta! This post is so you, my charming girl. Think I'll have a go at your advice.

Dear Suze,
thank you! And yes: do! (In a few days I'm back at 'normal' workload, I hope)

We should all have that photo stuck to our mirror!

Dear Crayon,
yeah - I like people/things/pictures/books/films/locations that make me feel good! (I always save a nice dvd for 'a rainy day' - now is waiting for me 'the Englishman who went up a hill but came down a mountain'.)
